Company Overview

Lincoln Poultry is committed to serving our customers in the best way possible. We make it our business to specialize in just one thing: bringing outstanding service to the food industry.

We serve independent businesses throughout eastern and central Nebraska. Additionally, we offer a variety of customized distribution options for multi-unit businesses and franchises in a 17-state region of the central United States: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Our distribution facility is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We inventory more than 8,000 different products and distribute to customers using our own fleet of trucks.

Our History

Lincoln Poultry got its start in 1957 thanks to the entrepreneurial efforts of Everett Evnen. The company began by distributing fresh poultry and eggs. Over time Lincoln Poultry expanded to offer a variety of other frozen and refrigerated foods, dry groceries, and an array of equipment and supplies.

In July 2010, Lincoln Poultry was acquired by the Sysco Corporation. Future plans include the expansion of our current distribution center and integration with Sysco Lincoln. Combined, these two Nebraska-based companies employ nearly 600 people from Lincoln and surrounding communities.

Our Commitment

All food service distributors offer peas and carrots, warehouses, and trucks. What sets Lincoln Poultry apart from the competition is that for us, business is always personal.

This means we don’t just supply your frozen foods. We have a genuine interest in your needs and what drives your business—and we continually strive to be responsive to those needs. No matter how large or small your business . . . your business is of the utmost importance to us.
